BMA Philly team exceeded expectations with a fantastic presentation by Tim Asimos of circle S studio on 11/10. We had a great turn-out with 27 members and guests. I think you’ll agree that Gypsy Blu in Ambler made for an ideal setting and excellent food.
All the way around, the luncheon was a winner! Tim is VP and Director of Digital Innovation, so it’s not surprising that some of his most important B2B trends to watch in 2017 focused on digital marketing, but not all of them! While Tim believes that “digital has changed the world so much that it has become the world,” he proposed a wide array of top trends to watch in 2017.
Here are some of my take-aways:
- Most important, there is a big difference between a trend and a fad! Trends “move the needle” as Tim said. They impact the bottom line.
- Being Customer Centered is critical, and will overtake price as a competitive advantage. Only 23% of B2B marketers have the right infrastructure to be fully Customer Centered.
- Content Marketing keeps evolving, and more than ever having a content strategy first, and developing tactics that follow the strategy is a must-do.
